What is "OC of the Month?"
OC of the Month is a feature of our group where members can vote from nominated candidates of OCs to see who's the fit! OCs are judged by design and personality.
Each OC of the Month will get a personal folder with their OC's name and be featured on the front page for the month!
What classifies an OC for OC of the month?
You must be a member of the group!Your OC must have a reference image! The image must contain at least a full-body, coloured image of the character. (It's okay if you commissioned your ref sheet, as long as it's your OC!) This image must adhere to the rest of our rules (not art theft, credited bases, etc.) as well as being "safe for watching" (no mature content) AND having a thumb. Their "info" must have between 4-6 sentences (number can change for individual contests), and they must have a personality. If the bio is not under your reference sheet, then it must be a written version of their biography. This doesn't have to be something elaborate, they can just have a name, talent/occupation and personality! The image criterias change with every contest. We have a cycle of different application rules:- a classical contest with OCs of any sort that need 10+ pictures
- a themed contest with OCs fitting a certain theme and 4+ pictures of artwork (We will ask for your recommandations and make a poll the month before)
- a creativity contest with more developed OCs of any sort that need a set of 6+ pictures with certain qualities (which will be given in the journal)
ALL these images must be on deviantART When we have a theme, your OC must fit this theme as well as the rest of the criteria. You must submit the form to the month's journal before the allotted day (usually the 30th/31st of the month)OC of the Month Nomination Form

Personality (in A FEW sentences): Number may vary on individual contests, but 4-6 is the standard
Link to folders or images of the OC: For this one you can either link to a folder in your faves/gallery or individual pictures! Remember, you must follow the criteria.
After the end of nomination time, a journal will be set up with the qualified OCs for the members to vote!
RULES
1. You must be a member to nominate your OC!
2. The OC you nominate must be your OC! You cannot nominate another person's OC.
3. Do not badmouth another person's OC. This is a positive environment and anyone found making awful comments about another's OC will be disqualified automatically and you will receive a warning. If it happens again you will be removed from the group.
4. Please follow all the guidelines! Anyone who doesn't won't be counted.
5. Please don't solicit votes within the comments! I thought I placed this rule already, sorry! If you are caught doing so you will be disqualified. (Soliciting votes mean "Vote for my oc/[OC's name]!")
6. If you nominated yourself last month and did not win, feel free to nominate yourself again! Just resubmit your comment with all the information ♥
7. If you won recently, you may not apply the same OC for 3 months. That way it's fair to the others!
