Winter isn't so wrapped up
In this section of Equestria, the world had grown cold and still. Most ponies were now inside, bundled in blankets and fuzzy socks with a warm drink near the fireplace. Content and happy with the cold. Citrus was no such mare, she hated the cold. She missed the warm world where the sun shined above the clouds, birds were constantly singing and blossoming flowers she passed on her afternoon walks. Now the sun felt like it was hiding away like everypony else, bundled up in its own blanket of gray and white. The ground was plastered in snow and ice, making afternoon walks a hassle. Flowerbeds were empty and songbirds had fled to warmer areas. She wished she could grow wings and travel with them. A trip to the beach or soaking in a nice tub of hot water at a spa sounded like a dream right now. Her neighbors seemed to not mind the cold, even making snow angels and snowponies.
